SUMMARY
Responsible for leading, performing, and witnessing Factory Acceptance Tests, installations, and start-up of PreFab modular data centers in Barcelona Factory and occasionally at customer facilities.
BUSINESS DIMENSION
Data Center Business. Projects between 400k to 60M USD. Electrical, Cooling, Control, and Monitoring installation systems. Works 90% in Factory and 10% at Customer Facilities. Projects delivered worldwide in a project and team environment.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Owner of Factory Acceptance Test and Site Acceptance Test documents.
2. Project Configuration and Start-up in our factory.
3. Develop FAT and SAT scripts.
4. Manage and witness installation and start-up on customer site.
5. Responsible for verifying project performance before shipment.
6. Reporting Lessons Learned.
7. Support Service Department.
8. Sporadic travels leading other factories and site testing/commissioning.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
1. Safety First - No accidents.
2. Leading FAT in all projects assuring functionality and following processes.
3. Reporting results and tracking open items.
4. Tracking Snagging list and Lessons Learned.
5. Focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
ABOUT YOU
Experience: 3-5 years as a field services engineer working on electrical equipment and systems. Power Electrical Distribution Knowledge. Electrical Engineer studies or equivalent. Experience using electrical measurement instruments and data capture.
Hard Skills:
1. English speaking, writing, and reading.
2. IT Systems and PC Software Literacy.
3. Electrical Equipment Operation and Maintenance.
4. Knowledge of electrical LV power distribution.
5. Microsoft Office.
6. Open to travel for periods of 1 to 2 weeks.
Soft Skills: Autonomous and decision-maker. Good performance under pressure. Hard work capacity. Effective reporting writing and speaking. Good communication and customer focus.
