Operations Controller
We're seeking an Operations Controller to join our team in Sant Celoni. As a key member of the Site Operations Management Team, you will provide business support to the local operations manager to ensure efficiency and compliance.
Main Responsibilities:
* Business Partnering: Identify risks and opportunities impacting operations and propose mitigation actions for execution.
* Business Insight: Provide interpretive and predictive operational and financial information to inform business decisions.
* Investments: Drive the investment process within the site, ensuring validation of business cases and approval of executed investments.
* Budget Cycle: Manage the annual budget process on site, including standard product costing and interface with the Pricing organization.
* Financial Performance Analysis: Participate in forecasting and mid-to long-term planning for the factory, analyzing business plans, budgets, forecasts, and cost savings opportunities.
* Other: Oversee and evaluate internal controls for the site, devising procedures to ensure clarity around processes and ensure proper internal controls.
You Have:
* Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or professional accountancy qualification.
* 4-7 years' experience in cost accounting in a manufacturing environment.
* Excellent analytical skills, able to simplify complex matters into easy-to-understand dialogue with business partners.
* Strong communication skills, establishing trust and credibility.
* Fluent Spanish and English.
* Strong knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel & PPT) and ERP systems (ideally SAP FICO).
* Able to work with and influence people at all levels, organizational savvy in managing diverse stakeholders.
* Team player, able to motivate others.
