What are we looking for?
We are looking for you if you are a Data Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience to work for a leading IT company.
As a Data Engineer, your responsibilities will be:
* Primarily developing with Java 11 in Spring Tool Suite.
* Designing, developing, and implementing efficient and scalable data pipelines using Data Warehouse and Data Lake technologies.
* Configuring and maintaining cloud data infrastructures using technologies such as Azure and AWS, including services like Azure Synapse Analytics, Amazon Redshift, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Amazon S3.
* Developing and maintaining ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into data storage systems.
* Ensuring data quality and consistency through cleaning, validation, and quality assurance techniques.
* Optimizing the performance of data processing and storage systems, ensuring the efficiency and scalability of the implemented solutions.
* Implementing security practices and regulatory compliance in handling sensitive data.
Work Schedule
- Full time 40 hours
- Work mode: Remote
Requirements
We require a minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar position, but above all, motivation and enthusiasm for well-done work.
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
* Previous experience in designing and implementing Data Warehouse and Data Lake solutions.
* Extensive knowledge and practical experience in Azure and/or AWS cloud technologies and services such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Amazon Redshift, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Amazon S3.
* Proficiency in programming languages like Python or Java, with experience applying them in data engineering projects.
* Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL database architectures and designs.
* Experience in developing and maintaining ETL processes using tools and frameworks like Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Apache Spark, etc.
* Knowledge of DevOps tools.
* Familiarity with agile software development methodologies and good data engineering practices.
