Your role
Purpose:
To facilitate the implementation of this strategy and promote/support the necessary actions for setting up and consolidating a site SHE Management System in the framework of Corporate Social Responsibility.
To provide expertise and advice in specialized aspects of SHE topics to the business in order to ensure adherence to legal requirements and company internal documents in SHE on site.
Major accountabilities
General:
* Provide regulatory compliance guidance and assist on SHE program according to regulations and Siegfried GOPs and initiatives.
* Act as Occupational Prevention Technician (TSPRL) according to Spanish regulation and the capabilities owned (Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and Ergonomics & Applied Psycho-sociology).
* Provide support in specific subjects of expertise: Toxicology and Corporate Social Responsibility – Sustainability.
* Coordinate third party SHE services assigned (Transport of Dangerous goods, Contractors Safety Management). Act as backup of Contractors Safety Coordinator, Service for Management of the Environmental Management System, and/or Medical Surveillance.
* Coordinate Emergency Response Teams. Maintain and update Emergency Plan. Apply Emergency tasks, trainings, and drills.
* Ensure and execute activities needed according to tasks & objectives assigned and Site SHE Plan, including:
o Identify, assess and document SHE risks to the employees at work (analysis of work areas and positions) and recommend the necessary technical, organizational, and personal protective measures in collaboration with the department's managers.
o Training activities, programs, and documents.
o Maintenance and documentation of SHE legal requirements for the site, activities, and programs. Keep track of the legislation and regulations in Health & Safety.
o Promote a successful and proactive SHE culture integration into the organization.
o Support incident root-cause investigations. Investigate and review SHE incidents assigned; assure documentation and promote to take appropriate actions to prevent reoccurrence.
o Inform line reporting the SHE status of programs assigned and collaborate in submitting the reports required.
o Report issues relative to SHE inspections/inquiries received from third parties or governmental agencies.
o Coordinate internal/external SHE audits/inspections of the site & related programs; document observations and opportunities.
o Coordinate with Technical Services, Engineering, QA, and PU's to maintain emergency standards and to integrate SHE requirements in change management.
o Give support and advise to the Health and Safety Committee in the different periodic meetings and working group.
o Collaborate with other companies working for the company in SHE-related topics in order to achieve the objectives and goals (projects, Occupational Medicine, and Environmental Management-ISO14001, others).
o Collaborate to achieve the site objectives and goals of productivity, quality, and efficiency. Helping to arise improvement opportunities and adaptation to the changes.

Bulk manufacturing and packaging of sterile ophthalmic products including eye drops, eye ointments, otic/nasal sprays.
