Position: Packaging Specialist
POSITION DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Packaging Specialist Junior. The Packaging Specialist will provide Packaging leadership in the Factory. Supporting the Packaging activities related to the implementation of I&R projects (material, concept, engineering), including contact with the factory master data team. Being the advocate for Packaging Quality in the factory (ensuring standards are applied, non-conformities are raised).
YOUR DAY TO DAY
* Provide site leadership for the development and implementation of new packaging in the factory. Responsible to coordinate solutions during and after implementation of I&R project for packaging related issues and in collaboration with the factory product and process specialist. Provide technical inputs to the Packaging Technology SME to support the Technology standards in the Coffee Factories.
* Ensure packaging standards are applied in the factory and take actions to sustain the packaging performance.
* Provide technical expertise to solve day to day factory packaging related issues, and for the development of new products to CTAG.
* Act as technical interface between factory and CTAG to turn initiatives into tangible committed actions between both teams.
* Provide inputs and support line commissioning and packaging validation for Capex or Capacity expansion projects.
* Drive within the factory, packaging related quality improvement to consistently deliver packaging quality from incoming packaging material through supply chain (IN-C, consumer and customer complaints, Grading deviations). Give input to CTAG Packaging for the development of packaging standard.
* Participate to relevant operational reviews in the factory.
* Monitor KPI's which are related to Packaging quality, Packaging performance and take corrective actions in the factory.
* Initiate, Identify, Support & Implement packaging related cost improvement initiatives.
DOES YOUR PROFILE FIT?
* Engineering, preferably in Packaging, Mechanics, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry or equivalent (Materials Science, Printing)
* Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in factory.
* Project Management (Project Planning and Execution)
* Technical Documentation Management Skills
* Human Safety, Health and Environment
* Legal / Regulatory / Environment Packaging Compliance
* Problem solving approach.
