We are looking for an Events Amplify Country Lead to oversee and coordinate one of our most prominent projects: the HP Amplify Project, a hybrid partner roadshow spanning over 140 countries and reaching more than 14,000 customers, with a strong focus on virtual events. This role requires direct interaction with clients, end-to-end project management, and the ability to lead the operational and strategic aspects of events, ensuring seamless execution and continuous improvement.

Main Responsibilities:
1. Internal and external communication: Maintain smooth communication with the Intracon team through daily calls and regular meetings. Collaborate with HP’s local team to adapt briefings and design events tailored to the specific needs of each country. Lead weekly client calls, ensuring clear alignment on tasks, timelines, and next steps. Act as the primary point of contact for all client interactions across assigned countries.
2. Event management: Oversee event planning by managing suppliers and ensuring all necessary services are in place for successful execution. Coordinate agenda creation, speaker arrangements, and technical rehearsal schedules. Ensure all event changes are documented and clearly communicated to the Assistant for execution. During the event, coordinate logistics, including travel arrangements, on-site organization, and support during the event itself. Supervise live events, providing on-the-spot solutions to ensure high-quality execution. Post-event, prepare reports, manage budget closures, and conduct debrief meetings with the HP team.
3. Coordination with speakers and sponsors: Ensure alignment and preparation of speakers for the assigned events. Manage relationships with local sponsors, ensuring adherence to agreements and contracts. Validate speaker materials, presentations, and branding in collaboration with the design team.
4. Administrative processes: Oversee compliance with internal back-office processes (project setup, updates, and closure), including travel bookings and expense reporting.
5. Team supervision and leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to the Amplify Assistant, fostering a collaborative and productive team dynamic. Oversee the Amplify Assistant’s work, ensuring tasks are executed accurately and on time. Supervise the rest of the local team for the assigned countries.
6. Analysis and continuous improvement: Contribute to the analysis of post-event metrics, gathering key data to evaluate project impact and propose operational improvements for future events.
Background Skills:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
2. At least 2 years of experience in event management and coordination within multinational environments.
3. Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
4. Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
5. Ability to use financial and budget tracking tools such as Excel.
6. Proven experience leading client communications and managing multiple stakeholders.
7. Familiarity with virtual event platforms (Teams, Zoom, etc.).
8. Advanced English proficiency; other languages are a plus.
