As a Unity Programmer, you will work on an important project in the education sector. Your responsibilities will include:
* Designing and programming complex game systems, ensuring smooth and engaging gameplay, and optimizing code to deliver optimal performance across various platforms.
* Guiding and supporting other team members by mentoring junior and mid-level developers and promoting best practices in Unity and C# development.
* Working on shaders, visual effects, and graphics optimization to enhance game visual quality without compromising performance, especially on low-end or mobile devices.
* Actively participating in project planning, collaborating with designers, artists, and other departments to ensure that the development of new features aligns with the overall vision of the project.
Work Schedule
- Full-time position, 40 hours per week.
- Hybrid work model, with two in-office days per week in Barcelona and Manresa offices, and three days of remote work.
Requirements
We require a minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role, but above all, motivation and enthusiasm for delivering quality work.
* Solid experience in developing complex applications in Unity and writing optimized code in C#, including a deep understanding of Unity APIs, memory management, and performance optimization.
* Skills in designing, implementing, and optimizing game mechanics and complex gameplay systems, including game logic, character control, physics, and AI systems.
* Experience in implementing shaders, advanced visual effects, and graphics optimization techniques (LOD, lightmapping, batching) to improve performance and visual quality across different platforms.
* Experience mentoring other developers, along with skills in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (designers, artists, QA) and managing tasks within agile methodologies.
* Knowledge of information security mechanisms for applicable software technologies.
Desirable: Knowledge of security practices and regulatory compliance in handling sensitive data.
