Wilhelmsen Ships Service AS is looking for a Delivery Manager.
As part of our commitment to shaping the maritime industry, we aim to accelerate shipping decarbonization through accurate and reliable emission monitoring.
The Delivery Manager will play a crucial role in this mission by overseeing the successful deployment of our emission monitoring solution to customer vessels, ensuring seamless installations, data integrations, and transitions to operational use. This role requires strong project management skills, cross-functional collaboration, and a customer-focused mindset to drive successful pilots and enable fleet-wide adoption.
What you will work on:
End-to-End Delivery Management
* Overseeing the full delivery process, from manufacturing to installation, integration, and commissioning.
* Ensuring deliveries are completed on time, within scope, and in accordance with contractual agreements.
* Driving the transition from pilot installations to full-scale fleet adoption.
Customer Success and Key Customer Contact
* Serving as the primary point of contact for customers during delivery and operational phases.
* Ensuring solutions meet customer expectations and function optimally post-installation.
* Maintaining a continuous dialogue with customers to address concerns, optimize performance, and drive customer satisfaction.
Sales Support and Business Expansion
* Supporting sales efforts by ensuring pilot project success and facilitating the transition to fleet-wide adoption.
* Gathering insights from customer interactions to inform product development and commercial strategies.
Continuous Improvement and Process Optimization
* Leading initiatives to refine and enhance delivery processes, ensuring best practices and lessons learned are applied.
* Implementing feedback loops to optimize logistics, installation efficiency, and operational effectiveness.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Working closely with product engineering, supply chain, external partners, and suppliers to align expectations and ensure smooth execution.
* Coordinating across teams to ensure solutions are manufactured, delivered, and implemented according to requirements.
Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
* Ensuring professional, transparent, and efficient communication with internal and external stakeholders.
* Providing regular updates on project status, challenges, and key milestones.
Risk Management & Compliance
* Identifying potential risks in the delivery process and proactively implementing mitigation strategies.
* Upholding the highest safety and compliance standards, ensuring all project activities adhere to maritime safety regulations and industry best practices.
What we are looking for:
* 5+ years of experience in project management or execution roles within the maritime industry.
* Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams, including engineering, suppliers, and partners, to deliver complex technical projects.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic, and multi-stakeholder environment.
* Proactive mindset, structured and customer-oriented.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. Fluent English is a requirement (both writing and speaking).
* Knowledge of maritime regulations (such as EU ETS and Fuel EU), energy transition technologies, and digital solutions relevant to the shipping industry is a big plus.
