Your role
As the UK Operations Manager, you will manage technical details to ensure seamless operations for UK applications and support the Service Manager with specific challenges. Your analytical skills will be vital in identifying discrepancies during financial reviews, while your problem-solving orientation will help address daily operational issues. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be key to driving improvements and enhancing efficiency.
As a UK Operations Manager your main responsibilities will involve:
* Ensure seamless operations for UK applications by proactively managing technical details and any application impacting events.
* Supporting the Service Manager in addressing UK-specific operational challenges with a focus on the communication between platforms and application support teams.
* Having an eye for detail while doing finances, WSRs or the quarterly reviews to spot any discrepancies or gaps before presenting or reporting anything to the customer.
* Demonstrating a strength in problem solving with BAU and other topics problems that may arise on a daily basis and help the Service Manager to assess the impact, weigh the options and propose solutions.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive operational improvements and efficiency.
Your Skills and Experience
As a UK Operations Manager your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
* Fluency in English, both written and spoken, to facilitate effective communication.
* Applying knowledge of SQL and Python to support technical operations.
* Understanding ETL processes to enhance data management capabilities is an advantage.
* Exhibiting strong soft skills, including proactivity and effective communication.
* Bringing up to 3 years of relevant experience in operations management or a related field.
