Our client is a multinational company that integrates solutions to help their customers be more efficient in intralogistics operations by implementing turnkey systems involving automation in hardware and software.
They are in a successful phase of expansion and growth and, therefore, need to hire a Project Engineer (PE). The PE is responsible for the installation and commissioning phase of LSI projects. Additionally, the role may occasionally encompass responsibilities in supporting the Systems Engineering group with layouts and manuals during the sales phase. A PE works closely with the Project Engineering Coordinator (PEC) in daily planning, executing, and reporting project deliveries.
Responsibilities:
* Manage and support day-to-day supplier and customer installation needs.
* Maintain a permanent communication flow with the Project Management and System Engineer specialists designated to the project.
* In the execution phase, be responsible for onsite work from mechanical and electrical installation to commissioning, which includes:
o Validating civil works, coordinating, and supervising the erection of warehouse structures, machinery, and interconnection wiring.
o Managing PLC and software integration.
o Ensuring onsite safety.
Requirements:
* Degree in Engineering; electrical engineering is a plus.
* Highly proficient in English (Spanish proficiency is a plus).
* 3 years of experience working with installations.
* Willingness to travel intensively (approximately 60%).
* Willingness to relocate to Madrid (if not already residing there).
