We are currently looking for a Category/Buyer Capex & Civil at Applus+ Corporate.
What will your day to day be like?
Category Management:
* Develop and implement category strategies for Capex and civil works that align with the company’s objectives.
* Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks in the Capex and contractor sectors.
* Maintain an up-to-date understanding of market conditions, supply base, and emerging technologies within the category.
Sourcing and Procurement:
* Lead end-to-end procurement processes for Consultants and Services, including tendering, negotiating, and contract management.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure procurement strategies meet business needs.
* Develop a supplier base that supports the company’s growth, quality, and innovation objectives.
* Manage supplier performance, including conducting regular reviews and addressing any issues or concerns.
Contract Management:
* Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for Consultants and Services to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
* Ensure all contracts comply with company policies, legal requirements, and risk management standards.
* Monitor contract performance and compliance, managing any changes or renewals as necessary.
Cost Management:
* Drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and service levels.
* Develop total cost of ownership (TCO) models to evaluate and optimize procurement decisions.
* Monitor and report on cost savings achieved and projected against targets.
Stakeholder Engagement:
* Work closely with engineering, finance, operations, and project management teams to align procurement activities with project timelines and budget constraints.
* Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on procurement activities, category strategies, and market developments.
Risk Management:
* Identify and mitigate risks associated with Consultants and Services procurement, including supply chain disruptions, financial instability, and compliance issues.
* Develop contingency plans and ensure supply continuity for critical projects.
Continuous Improvement:
* Implement best practices in procurement processes and contribute to the continuous improvement of the procurement function.
What are the minimum requirements?
* University degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
* Minimum 3 years in a similar position.
* Specialized in Procurement in Services, engineering international environment, facility management experience, SAP ARIBA experience.
* Intermediate English level (First Level).
