We are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to join our team and provide expert legal guidance to support our organisation's operations and strategic goals. In this role, you will be responsible for managing legal risks, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and offering sound legal advice to senior management and other stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in corporate law, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
You will report directly to the Head of Legal Iberia of our organization.
What responsibilities and objectives will you have?
As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will play a critical role in shaping the legal framework of our organization, ensuring that all business activities are conducted within the boundaries of the law while protecting the company's interests. You will also be expected to stay updated on legal developments and proactively address potential legal issues.
1. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
2. Provide legal advice and support to senior management and business units.
3. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
4. Manage and mitigate legal risks by developing strategies and solutions.
5. Oversee and coordinate with external legal counsel as needed.
6. Stay updated on legal and regulatory developments relevant to the organization.
7. Develop and implement internal legal policies and procedures.
What will the requirements be?
1. Demonstrable and comparable experience in a law firm or in-house
2. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
3. Excellent IT literacy
4. People skills
5. Time management skills
6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
7. Experience in growing companies is a plus.
8. At least 7-8 years of experience
