Business Development Manager - Digital Markets

Our Business Development Managers are often the first point of contact with prospective software vendor clients, and thus, an integral part of the Gartner Digital Markets Sales Team. If you are an ambitious and proactive individual who loves working with prospective clients and eager to build your closing skills, let's talk!
Why you’ll want to come to work:
1. Run a full sales desk, including prospecting, qualifying, pricing, quoting, negotiating and closing deals
2. Actively seek out new sales opportunities through active networking and personal/strategic emails, phone calls and social messages (at least 50 outreaches per day)
3. Build relationships with key business decision makers, up to and including C-Level Executives
4. Qualify and uncover prospective client needs, goals and pain points
5. Partner with Account Management team to ensure new software vendor clients are set up for success
6. Participate in ongoing sales training to continue building your sales skills
What you’ll bring to the team:
1. Fluency in English.
2. 1-2 years of relevant sales experience (B2B or Software Sales experience a plus)
3. Bachelor's degree is preferred
4. Must have full life cycle sales experience from prospecting to close
5. Ability to solve complex problems and manage ambiguity
6. A desire for continuous learning and ability to give/receive feedback
7. Demonstrated consistency in delivering results
8. Confidence selling to and building trust-based relationships with clients
9. Proven experience building excellent client relationships
