Job Description:
We are looking for Team Manager, Pharmacovigilance/Toxicology to join our team in Barcelona.
All over the world, decision-makers depend on us for the essential knowledge that can justify their strategies, promote outstanding research and business growth, and keep them abreast of the market.
You’ll join our OFF-X team, a translational drug safety intelligence portal providing Preclinical & Clinical Safety data and analytic tools that allow users to easily identify drug and target safety liabilities.
The team is responsible for the curation of drug safety information collected from journals, congress publications and drug regulatory approvals which are delivered to OFF-X.
About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
* Degree in Life Sciences (Toxicology, Pharmacology, Biology, Pharmacy, Biomedical Sciences, etc.) and experience in pharmacovigilance, drug safety management and/or toxicology.
* At least 5 years’ experience in a global corporation (pharma domain or consulting) with people and process management experience.
* Strong experience managing & mentoring a team.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.

* Good judgment in decision-making and priority setting.
* Ability to analyze processes, identify problems, and develop effective solutions.

What will you be doing in this role?
* Managing a global team, mostly based in Barcelona and India.
* Creating a culture of success, motivating, and developing colleagues to achieve their full potential.
* Driving execution and performance. Ensuring key performance indicators for quality, timeliness, and completeness are delivered and striving for continuous improvement.
* Building a customer-focused team and developing an environment that stimulates innovation.
* Playing a role in major decisions and initiatives to enable the Content Function to achieve its long-term objectives.
* Communicating initiatives to senior management, setting timelines, and managing expectations for all deliverables and releases.
* Working together with Product, Product Operations, Technology, and Marketing in the product development process.
* Identifying opportunities for synergies and simplification of complex processes.
About the Team
* Reporting to the Director, Content Editing, Regulatory and Market Access based in France and joining an international and diverse team of more than 80 colleagues mostly based in Spain and India.
* Managing a team composed of around 20 colleagues mostly based in Spain and India.

Hours of Work
This is a permanent full-time position at 40 hours a week (35 hours during July and August). The position is hybrid, requiring you to go to our office in Barcelona (next to Sagrada Familia) 2-3 times per week.
