Main Responsibilities
1. Help with check-ins and check-outs of students.
2. Invigilate and correct placement tests.
3. Planning and preparation of classes.
4. 6 hours teaching per day or 4 hours teaching and 2 hours helping the monitors.
5. Make and correct weekly tests.
6. Complete weekly or termly reports for students.
7. Take part in some parties at night.
8. Night duties (Remain on camp at night on a rota basis - every second night).
9. Occasional monitor duties at break times (on a rota basis).
10. You will be responsible for teaching 4 classes of up to 12 students, providing fun and exciting classes, and creating an interesting and intriguing learning environment. Our company motto "Learning English, Having Fun" should be followed.
Who can apply?
You must be a passport holder from an EU member state or already hold the NIE, TIE, or DNI (Spanish Identity documents).
If you hold a student TIE, you may be allowed to work up to 30 hours per week. However, you need to check if your student TIE is valid for the summer.
Economic Conditions
We provide full board and accommodation in shared rooms.
Pay is 476 Euros per week before tax.*
A small bonus is paid after having worked more than 6 weeks.
You will be paid at the end of your contract.
You can ask for an advance on pay of up to 100€ per week in cash to cover any needs you may have whilst in our camps.
* Please be aware that if you are non-resident in Spain, you will be placed in the higher tax bracket and pay 19% tax. Non-residents are those who have lived in Spain for less than 6 months. We will therefore give a small bonus to any non-resident.
