Summary
We are seeking a talented and motivated associate to join our Product Security team within the Novartis DDIT ITOT. The Product Security Specialist is responsible for coordinating and executing the deployment of anti-counterfeiting features and projects, and support and train the organization on anti-counterfeiting business processes.
About the Role
Major responsibilities:
* Manage global and local projects within the area of Product Security. Deliver necessary documentation, including project charters, work orders, and test specifications.
* Own, review and update processes, working instructions, guidelines, and operational handbooks related to product security.
* Coordinate, plan, and execute the deployment of anti-counterfeiting activities, including qualification of packaging suppliers for anti-counterfeiting features.
* Provide training on anti-counterfeiting feature processes to packaging suppliers, third-party manufacturers, and internal operations teams. Keep training manuals updated.
* Train stakeholders on the usage of relevant tools and applications for product security.
* Onboard packaging suppliers, third-party manufacturers, and internal sites in anti-counterfeiting business processes.
* Support implementation of anti-counterfeiting business processes during product transfer activities.
* System owner of product security applications and systems (PROVE, MOVE, and Authentifield).
* Manage change processes related to anti-counterfeiting features and provide second-level support for business process issues when required.
* Facilitate community meetings for the introduction of new features, deployments, and initiatives.
* Manage the shipment of hardware to various company sites, ensuring the equipment reaches the desired locations in time and in undamaged condition, ensuring adherence to all regulations.
* Maintain the inventory and vendor-related data of distributed devices across sites and global assets in line with finance guidelines.
* Coordinate with installation vendors to set up the hardware at respective sites, including verifying their expertise and capabilities.
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a pharmaceutical or technical field.
* Experience in GxP environment, industry and regulatory standards and guidelines, strong ethical foundation, and a sound compliance understanding.
* Working experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
* Basic experience in the development, implementation, and lifecycle management of computerized systems in regulated environments.
* Experience in material shipments management including customs clearance regulations.
* Knowledge in printing technologies is a plus.
