We are now seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to help us further build the future of food. You can be based in Berga, Spain and report to the Industrial Manager, becoming part of a great team across our locations in Europe – Finland, UK, Belgium, Sweden, Estonia, and Spain.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to analyze production lines from a technical and maintenance perspective, ensuring continuous improvement and coordinating the implementation of prevention plans for machinery.
What will you do:
* Act and live according to Paulig values, actively promoting and implementing these throughout the entire organization.
* Set and clearly articulate the organization’s vision to all personnel.
* Meet Paulig policy for quality, environment, working conditions, and legal demands.
* Ensure the correct application of the Quality, Environment, and Occupational Risk Prevention System by the personnel in charge.
* Collaborate and participate in training topics for all department staff.
* Collaborate with the Manager in the creation and update of SOPs.
* Ensure organizational development and empower staff by providing necessary training, SOPs, and support with increased responsibility among staff when earned.
* Ensure compliance with working conditions, environment, legal requirements, and agreements.
* Continuous improvement of productivity and environmental performance.
* Purchase and maintain production equipment and spare parts.
* Responsible for the equipment tree and documentation.
* Lead external company personnel working in the area, responsible for job tracking and control, including EHS documentation.
* Manage and implement technical projects, participate in manufacturer trainings, prepare internal documentation if needed, and train blue-collar staff.
* Keep the preventive plans up to date.
* Ensure compliance with the preventive plans. In case of detecting deviations, report directly to the person who has not carried out the action and, in case of repeated deviations, to the Maintenance Manager of the specific line and the Production Manager.
* Responsible for dealing with corrective maintenance incidents. Make contingency plans and inform as necessary.
* Manage spare parts, including inventory cycle count.
* Lead a blue-collar maintenance team.
What we expect from you:
* Bachelor of Engineering, preferably in the electrical area.
* Experience in the manufacturing process.
* Experience in a LEAN manufacturing environment.
* Good automation and electrical knowledge.
* Computer experience in MS Office, Sharepoint, CRM, SOLIDWORKS, AUTOCAD, and ERP or similar design tools, along with generic insight into other relevant technical software and applications.
