Junior QA Analyst Responsibilities
The Junior QA Analyst is responsible for applying the principles, practices and standards of functional & acceptance testing throughout the software development life cycle. Supporting the business with test coordination activities, functional testing, test execution on digital systems, defect management and handover to the relevant teams.
This role also entails working closely with Release manager, Product Owners, Project Managers, Business Analysts, QA Lead & External Suppliers.
Living in Barcelona’s area or being able to travel to Barcelona as/when requested is required to build a strong collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
* Driving quality assurance measures and testing standards across the Business
* Review software requirements to ensure they are clear to all aspects of the business
* Work closely with Business Analysts & Product owners to determine the scope of testing on projects
* Create and execute manual tests to check the functionality of the software works as expected
* Raise issues with the development teams when the platforms do not behave as expected
* Work with business stakeholders to identify the priority and severity of defects raised and assigned to the correct parties
* Re-test defects that have been fixed by the development teams
* Create, implement and maintain test repository in Practices
* Test any new software to ensure integration into company systems meets functional requirements, system compliance, and technical specifications
* Communicate test progress, results, issues impacting deliverables and all relevant information to project stakeholders
* Engage with internal & external team to identify and facilitate to resolve any dependencies, identify workarounds and solutions to achieve testing timelines
Required Experience
* Experience with Software Quality Assurance
* Experience in Online gaming systems is beneficial
* Experience in defect management tool JIRA or any other defect management tools desirable
* Experience of Agile development (Scrum) desirable
* Experience using Selenium or any other tool for automation testing in web desirable

* Ability to multi-task and prioritize within a busy and challenging environment
* Ability to analyze business requirements and create testing documentation
* Ability to communicate in a clear and timely manner with stakeholders
* Confident when dealing with multiple projects and changing and conflicting priorities
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Capable of working independently and collaboratively
* Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers and can tailor communications to meet the stakeholders' needs accordingly
