Are you passionate about optimizing transportation processes and driving digital transformation across global supply chains? We are looking for a dynamic Transportation Management Specialist / Lead to play a key role in delivering innovative solutions and ensuring operational excellence across our Group’s Distribution Centers (DCs).
In this role, you’ll work at the intersection of technology and logistics, partnering closely with key stakeholders to implement cutting-edge Transportation Management solutions. What You’ll Do:
As Transportation Management Specialist / Lead, you’ll take ownership of a wide range of impactful responsibilities, ensuring our Transportation Management solutions not only support but drive the success of our global supply chain operations:
* Lead end-to-end deployment of Transportation Management solutions across multiple entities, ensuring seamless integration with local processes and systems.
* Partner with business teams to gather detailed requirements, translate them into clear functional specifications, and ensure solutions meet evolving operational needs.
* Coordinate and oversee projects, managing timelines, milestones, and deliverables to guarantee successful, on-time implementations.
* Evaluate and prioritize enhancements to the Transportation Management template, aligning updates with the application roadmap and providing expert recommendations to Supply Chain and Logistics teams.
* Collaborate closely with DT&IT teams (SAP SD, MDM, MM, WMS) and support teams to investigate recurring issues, propose innovative solutions, and enhance system reliability.
* Act as a trusted advisor for business stakeholders, validating processes, ensuring alignment with best practices, and tracking implementation progress.
* Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess solution performance, identify improvement areas, and ensure both technical excellence and operational efficiency.
* Organize and lead engaging training sessions and workshops for key business users, ensuring knowledge transfer and fostering a strong community of practice across all companies.
What You Bring to the Team:
We’re looking for a professional with a strong blend of technical expertise and business acumen, who can confidently bridge the gap between technology and logistics operations:
* 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Transportation Management, preferably within complex, multi-site environments.
* 2-3 years of experience managing incidents and service delivery, with a focus on continuous improvement and root cause analysis.
* Strong technical understanding of Transportation Management systems, including configuration, customization, administration, and interfaces with related applications (SAP or others).
* Proven experience delivering solutions in collaboration with internal teams and external service providers, ensuring alignment across nearshore and offshore teams.
* Ability to understand and translate business needs into technical requirements, ensuring solutions enhance operational performance.
* Strong command of written and spoken English (comfortable engaging with global stakeholders).
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, Supply Chain or equivalent field.
* Postgraduate studies in Supply Chain Management are a plus.
* Direct experience in Warehouse and Distribution operations, with solid knowledge of logistics processes and challenges.
* Familiarity with SAP applications (SAP TM, SAP SD, SAP MM) is a strong advantage.
* Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus and highly valued).
