Mission:
The AREA SALES MANAGER is responsible for handling and developing a portfolio of hotels in specific destinations and the turnover generated by the private sales in these areas.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
· Portfolio elaboration: identify eligible hotels and convince them to participate to our private sales.
· Account management: commercial follow-up on existing partners and key accounts.
· Negotiation: negotiate conditions of private sales including competitive rates and inventories.
· Sales organization: KPIs analysis. Plan, implement and optimize the private sales.
· Benchmark: be on the lookout and analyze the competitive practices to help the
· decision-making process in accordance with VeryChic brand positioning.
· Competitive intelligence: reveal new consumption trends, new hotels, and new popular destinations.
· Attend major fairs in Europe and traveled monthly to key destinations.
Key skills/ work experience:
· Natural born business developer with a robust knowledge of sales techniques (prospection, negotiations, deals closing).
· Sales hunger is a must! You may never take a no for an answer.
· Highly motivated, results-driven, strategic thinker, with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications:
· Spoken and written fluency in Italian and English. A n y additional language would be a plus.
· 3+ year professional experience, preferably in the e-commerce and/or travel industry.
· Strong working ethics and adaptability.
Education:
· Graduate in ecommerce/Tourism.
