Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients who bring in the most revenue for the company.
* Play a key role in attracting new customers and be responsible for their effective on-boarding.
* Focus on growth in alternative segments where the company may not be present.
* Address and resolve customer complaints.
* Act as the main point of contact between customers and internal teams.
* Oversee customer service assigned to each customer.
* Communicate and collaborate with marketing, sales, purchasing, technical and logistics departments to ensure that customer needs are met.
* Reporting on account performance, targets and forecasts for the relevant area.
* Develop a thorough understanding of customer needs and requirements and prepare customised solutions.
* Negotiate contracts with clients and meet deadlines set for the achievement of each client’s long-term objectives.
* Comply with both general and position-specific policies and procedures, as well as ensure the completion of all tasks within scope to facilitate the achievement of the company’s objectives.
Education:
* Higher education in Chemistry, Business Administration, International Business or similar.
Specific knowledge:
* Knowledge in the industries of fragrances, flavours, animal feed, cosmetics.
* Basic knowledge of international trade.
* Advanced user of Office Suite.
* Analytical skills.
* Knowledge of SAP would be an asset.
