Regional Planning & Logistics Manager, GTR Europe Join to apply for the Regional Planning & Logistics Manager, GTR Europe role at Bacardi.

YOUR OPPORTUNITY
This is a unique opportunity to be part of our GTR Europe team and play an important role in our organization at a moment where we are seeing a strong demand for travel worldwide. In this role, you will build deep partnerships across Bacardi at a local, regional, and global level.
You will play a major role in adding value by driving the Sales & Operations Planning process for the region, ultimately helping Bacardi to deliver against our BEST10 growth aspirations to support sales.
About You
You are skilled at consistently building deep, trusting partnerships with sales, finance, customers, marketing, and leaders. Structured, focused, and organized define your approach as you navigate multiple high priorities. You are solution-oriented with fantastic attention to detail, great listening skills, and a proactive approach to anticipating business needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES - WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE
Global Travel Retail Sales & Operation Planning
1. Manage key internal and external stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, Customers, and Finance) to get a collaborative and consensus approach to forecasting and agree on the Best10 process.
2. Continue to analyze current business, demand trends, and predict future trends for the middle and long horizon (24 months).
3. Collaborate with sales to understand customers’ data and their ordering patterns.
4. Lead the Demand process in the GTR region including the volume sign-off with the regional leadership team to ensure plans are established, monitored, and reviewed to guarantee efficient and timely distribution of products to customers and secure stock availability.
5. Support the Supply Chain Director in the S&OP process and preparation of the global monthly meetings.
6. Build visibility between financial targets and volume sales plans and support the financial team in the financial cycle, clearly disclosing risks and opportunities to the business through the demand planning process.
7. Ensure cross-functional alignment and business ownership at multiple levels.
8. Maintain S&OP tools and report risks and opportunities.
Forecast Accuracy
1. Manage sales forecasts at IPC/customer level.
2. Analyze all data to ensure that sales forecasts are realistic (historical sales, market trends, seasonality, promotions, customer data) and challenge regional commercial teams about inconsistencies.
3. Conduct forecast data submissions in the system following the global S&OP and forecasting calendar.
4. Improve forecasting techniques and methods to increase forecast accuracy indicators.
New Products Introduction
1. Cooperate with Marketing, Innovation, and Supply Chain teams to ensure an effective innovation process while reducing supply chain complexity.
2. Be the single point of contact for Bacardi value-added packs being produced/co-packed in/for the region.
3. Follow GTR launch of promotions, value-added packs, Limited Editions, and Innovations to ensure a successful landing and full depletion.
4. Maintain the products’ portfolio list including lifecycle information and communicate regularly with stakeholders.
5. Align with supply planning on the right level of replenishment and inventory for new products.
6. Ensure forecast is reflected 4 months minimum before the first shipment date.
Inventory Management / Product Lifecycle Monitoring
1. Focus on optimizing days inventory and working capital by analyzing safety stocks and non-performing stocks.
2. Follow up Slow mover / No mover stocks and take relevant actions to deplete those.
3. Identify write-off risks and root causes and set action plans to reduce/avoid and monitor.
4. Ensure any issues/alerts are raised promptly with sales/customers to avoid those.
Portfolio Management
1. Lead the product portfolio management review for the region to simplify, optimize, and improve profitability.
2. Make sure actions are reflected in the global dashboards and product status updated properly in the system.
Supply Challenges
1. Manage short/medium term supply constraints to deliver products on the agreed basis.
2. Monitor allocation of limited products and communicate on status.
Logistics
1. Work closely with sales, customer service, and logistics teams to develop the most robust, agile, and efficient supply network across the region.
2. Identify and implement improvements to increase supply chain efficiency.
SKILLS - THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY
1. Minimum 2 years of demand planning experience recommended.
2. High analytical skills.
3. Excellent knowledge of processes within operations.
4. Business savvy and a good understanding of consumer & customers’ needs.
5. Ability to influence, market, regional and global teams.
6. Willingness to work collaboratively with teams across different geographies and cultures.
Language Requirements: English is essential.
