We are currently seeking a Director of Business Development to join our BD Team and contribute to our mission of scaling great games and studios to new heights!
As the Director of Business Development, you will work directly with senior management and C-level executives, acting as a liaison between Tilting Point and its partners. You will originate and negotiate deals, influence greenlight decisions, and drive expansion opportunities across the US, Europe, and Asia. Success in this role is measured by concrete, revenue-driving goals. You will drive growth and profitability by leading initiatives across the following key areas:
Funding
* Source – Generate new leads and opportunities to expand Tilting Point’s Funding pipeline.
* Negotiate – Structure and draft key contract terms in collaboration with prospective developer partners. Engage in detailed negotiations to secure mutually beneficial agreements.
* Support – Collaborate with our insights and marketing teams in evaluating and making data-driven decisions around the potential partnerships.
* Identify – Strategic alliances and partners to drive growth and industry awareness for the Funding business.
IP Licensing
* Negotiate, execute, and manage license agreements to meet strategic and revenue objectives.
* Support the licensor lifecycle from initial contract to product development and execution.
* Relationship Management – Work with licensors, ensuring strong, ongoing partnerships and seamless communication.
Platform Relations and New Ports
* Maintain and boost relationships with existing platform partners and app stores (e.g., Apple, Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Epic Games, Netflix) in partnership with the Distribution team.
* Expand – Identify and explore new platform opportunities to extend the reach of Tilting Point’s portfolio. Collaborate with the Product team to develop compelling pitches for new games and platform opportunities.
B2B Marketing
* Sell & Promote – Market Tilting Point’s services, deliver persuasive presentations, and create customized sales materials to attract top developers.
* Track & Inform – Maintain developer records, document insights, and stay updated on industry trends by analyzing competitor and internal titles.
* Represent & Engage – Advocate for Tilting Point at industry events, collaborate on PR efforts, and contribute to B2B communications across various channels.
This position reports to the Senior Director of Business Development and works closely with BD and Product functions, and several external partners.
Skills And Requirements
* 5+ years in the games industry, ideally in mobile business development, with strong relationships in the gaming community.
* Deep understanding of UA, financial deals, P&Ls, forecasts, and KPIs.
* Proven ability to identify and execute new business opportunities, drive innovative deals, and expand partnerships.
* Enthusiastic, persistent, and deeply passionate about mobile gaming, with strong product instincts and excellent communication skills.
* Strong product and marketing instincts.
* A strong work ethic.
