What impact you will have
We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager (EMEA) to lead and optimize our procurement, planning, and logistics operations across the region. Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the ideal candidate will ensure that the EMEA supply chain meets the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. This role will also actively participate in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and logistics strategy while collaborating closely with key internal and external stakeholders.
What you’ll do
* Lead and mentor a cross-functional supply chain team, covering procurement, planning, and logistics. Define KPIs, monitor performance, and foster continuous improvement.
* Develop and manage sourcing strategies for various product categories. Conduct RFQ processes and negotiate optimal commercial terms with suppliers.
* Oversee demand and production planning to ensure alignment with sales and manufacturing. Optimize inventory levels while maintaining cost efficiency and service levels.
* Build and manage supplier networks, ensuring long-term partnerships and mitigating risks related to geopolitical, climate, or supply disruptions.
* Establish and oversee supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies, industry standards, and global trade regulations.
* Enhance procurement and logistics processes to improve operational agility, reduce lead times, and increase overall efficiency.
* Work closely with Product Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Sales teams to align supply chain strategies with business objectives.
What you’ll need
* 8+ years of experience in supply chain management, particularly in procurement, sourcing, and logistics, with a focus on international or EMEA markets.
* Proven leadership in developing and executing supply chain strategies to optimize cost, quality, and efficiency, while managing suppliers and categories from scratch.
* Experience managing cross-functional teams, including procurement, planning, logistics, and Product Development, to drive performance improvements.
* Strong analytical skills with experience managing KPIs and using procurement data and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) to improve supply chain performance.
* Expertise in procurement best practices, supplier management, RFQ processes, cost modeling, and contract negotiations.
* Knowledge of logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, as well as international trade policies and Incoterms.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills to build relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
* Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
* Experience with climate and supply chain risk management, including understanding the impact of natural disasters and weather risks on procurement and logistics.
