Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Export Director to join our team in the Sun Protection Fabrics Division. As Export Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies aimed at increasing market share and meeting annual revenue targets.
Main Responsibilities
* Sales Strategy & Planning: Develop and present annual sales plans to the Deputy General Manager for approval.
* Team Coordination: Work closely with a team of five sales representatives to set goals and tasks for distributors and agents.
* Client & Agent Network: Build and maintain a structured agent network to serve and expand key client relationships.
* Sales Team Oversight: Monitor travel schedules and client visits, ensuring 50% of the sales team's time is dedicated to client interactions.
* Performance Management: Provide bi-weekly feedback to the sales team, with regular follow-ups to track and improve performance.
Requirements & Qualifications
* Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as an Export Director, ideally within the sun protection or related industries.
* Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on achieving sales targets and maximizing team performance.
* Languages: Fluent in English; proficiency in French is highly valued.
* Credentials: Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM platform.
* Travel: Willingness to travel frequently (at least one week per month for client visits).
