As a Customer Development Manager, you will be part of the Sales Team “Health and Personal Care” of Caldic Ibérica, with territorial responsibility for the Iberian peninsula. Your customers are companies active in the pharmaceutical or cosmetic industry. You will be responsible for the daily management and development of your existing customer and product portfolio, the direct commercial activities and sales. This includes making offers and external visits. Expanding the product portfolio, identifying and generating new business will give you energy. You will have a hands-on approach and therefore be operationally active: a portion of your time will be spent visiting customers, identifying opportunities where you can add value to the business. You'll feel at home in an international setting and will do business with different cultures. In this role, you will report to your Product Manager.
Your personality can be described as entrepreneurial, enthusiastic, and energetic. You will need to have a strong commercial understanding and have collected some commercial experience in the required fields (pharma or cosmetics). Your method is characterized as solution and results-oriented, and you have strong analytical and communication skills. You will act as a full partner for your relationships with suppliers, customers, and colleagues. In addition, you will need to have:
* Technical education in the field of Chemistry and experience in a.m. fields
* A good knowledge of practical English
* The willingness to travel, mostly nationally
* A good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word, as well as CRM software
* Commercial experience selling chemicals
